Hello!

This Blog post tells you more about how the research for the project is taking place and the resources that are being used to do it. This post will also tell how the research is being taken into account while making Canary's Chirp.

Survey

A survey for the parents as well as someone who has autism has been made, in order to gather most amount of data and stories as possible.

These surveys can be found here -

Feedback

The feedback is both statistical and personal, as the statistics will be used to address the bigger issues, and the personal stories can help with the story arc and structure of the game.

Into the Game

These small stories are the inspiration of the tough things that the children face in the game. The cinematic will define what the parents feel when Canary is not around. Every person Canary's interactions with the people around her, the parents, the therapy dog and more, will be determined after the survey is completed.

The transition of making these difficulties into mechanics will be challenging, but should be possible.

The next blog post will give more detail about the art style of the game and the game engine being used to develop a prototype for it.

Cheers!
